Urszula creates a safe and non-judgmental space where clients can tackle the problems in living they may be experiencing. She believes in building a therapeutic relationship and working together to explore the client’s own ability to find their own solution that suits them best to lead the life they want to. She is working with warmth and reliability. Urszula understands that a person’s internal negative narrative can be disruptive in fulfilling life therefore she is using CBT to help clients improve their cognitive pattern and reach their full potential. Urszula works collaboratively with clients to develop psychological formulation of presenting problems and helps the clients recognize their fears or sources of distress and aids them in altering their behavior towards their goals.

Urszula has spent the last ten years supporting people with challenges in their life - from acute crisis to a general feeling that something does not quite fit.

Urszula has previously worked in an inpatient psychiatric facility at the Priory as part of the Eating Disorders Department helping adults and adolescents with eating difficulties, severe anxiety disorders, body dysmorphic disorder (BDD), panic disorder as well as depression.

She has experience of delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy for people across a range of age groups and emotional and psychological difficulties. Some of the difficulties that she has treated include; low-self-esteem; depression; anxiety; trauma; eating disorders; stress management and burnout. She specialises in providing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) which she applies to a range of disorders. Furthermore, she is trained in mindfulness-based approaches, Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
