About me

Life can be difficult and challenging, and it is natural to feel lost and alone at times. I am a compassionate and skilled therapist who is ready to listen and work collaboratively with clients to overcome difficulties and help them live their best lives. I am a BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist with a deep passion for helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges. I specialise in treating low self-esteem, building confidence, and teaching assertiveness. I have a strong track record of success in working with PTSD / Trauma (particularly sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, bullying), Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Depression. As a culturally sensitive practitioner, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care to clients from diverse backgrounds. I have extensive experience supporting individuals who have faced racism, ensuring that they feel understood and validated in therapy. With a 25-year background in Social Work, I have gained profound insights into childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault, which enrich my therapeutic approach with empathy and depth. I use a range of therapies in my work including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Schema Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy and I tailor my treatment plans to meet each client’s unique needs. My goal is to create a safe, supportive and empowering space where individuals can heal, grow, and develop the confidence to navigate life’s challenges.
