About me

I view therapy as a process that can help us together to investigate and understand why you may be feeling unsettled, anxious or depressed. I see my role of sensitively guiding your discovery; helping you to identify those vicious circles we can often become trapped within, and supporting you to find alternative ways of thinking and doing that moves you towards change and recovery. In therapy with me you will find compassion, empathy, authenticity, and respect, but also that I will genuinely strive with you to help you achieve your recovery goals. I have a particular interest in the experience and impact of workplace bullying. I am a psychotherapist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with 12 years of experience within the NHS and private practice. I am experienced working with problems such as anxiety and depression and also with difficulties such as obsessive compulsive disorder, (OCD) phobias, panic, social anxiety, health anxiety, perfectionism, low self esteem, trauma (PTSD) etc
