Approach

Lorraine’s approach is to build trusting relationships with her clients in order to understand their experiences. They then work together to build an understanding of how problems may have developed, what maintains them, and what needs to change. Her aim is to enable people to have happier and healthier experiences in line with their life values. Lorraine integrates elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), compassion focused therapy and mindfulness into her practice in order to work holistically.

Experience

Lorraine is a highly trained and fully accredited cognitive behaviour therapist. She has worked in adult NHS mental health services since 2004.
