Subashini is a cognitive behaviour therapist with extensive experience of working in various Private and Health Sectors both in Australia and the UK. Training Originally in Social Work and subsequently training as a Psychologist in Australia, Subashini has also trained specifically in CBT in the UK. She has full Accreditation with the BABCP, the Recognised Professional Organisation for CBT trained therapists. Subashini is also trained in Solution Focussed Therapy and as the name suggests, this approach seeks to highlight strengths and explore solutions. In the UK, she has worked in various Child and Adolescent services (CAMHS) and in more recent years, with adults in London offering Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).
Experience
Subashini has a strong commitment to helping people manage tough emotions so that they can lead healthy and happier lives. She has a strong belief in the CBT approach as an Evidenced Based Treatment Protocol, a current initiative of the IAPT services within the NHS. The National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) Guidelines supports CBT for the treatment of depression, anxiety and other emotional difficulties. CBT has good evidence for producing positive results for individuals suffering from depression and anxiety. Subashini is able to offer a safe, containing and confidential approach to helping you realise your goals in therapy. She is able to use my skills to develop individually tailored programs to best suit you.
