About me

I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) passionate about helping people improve their mental health and well-being. For many years, I’ve supported individuals through anxiety, depression, panic attacks, health anxiety, and trauma-related difficulties, using evidence-based CBT techniques tailored to each person’s unique needs. I understand how overwhelming life’s challenges can feel. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can talk openly, feel heard, and start making positive changes. Every journey is different, and I’ll work alongside you at your own pace, helping you build confidence, resilience, and self-understanding. Together, we’ll explore practical tools and strategies to help you manage difficult thoughts and emotions, break unhelpful patterns, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. How I Work: My approach to CBT therapy combines professionalism with compassion and is grounded in three key principles: Client-Centred Care You are at the heart of the process. I adapt therapy to suit your individual goals, personality, and pace, ensuring each session feels meaningful and relevant to you. Holistic Understanding Mental health is influenced by many factors emotional, psychological, and physical. I consider the full picture to provide a well-rounded, integrative approach that supports long-term well-being. Evidence-Based Practice I use proven CBT techniques and therapeutic strategies supported by research, helping you achieve lasting results and real improvement in how you think and feel. My Background Before specialising in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, I worked in an inpatient mental health service, supporting individuals facing a range of complex emotional and psychological difficulties. This experience gave me deep insight into the realities of mental health struggles and strengthened my ability to offer compassionate, effective, and practical support in therapy.
