About me

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with a specialist interest in women’s experiences and women’s health. I am passionate about helping people make sense of past experiences and present difficulties, and supporting them to move towards a life that feels meaningful and aligned with their values. I welcome anyone, whatever their background or circumstances, who feels they would benefit from thoughtful, compassionate support. I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting. I offer a warm, collaborative space where we can explore what has brought you to therapy and work together to understand the roots of your difficulties. I have experience providing both short-term and longer-term therapy, depending on your needs and goals. Alongside Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I have additional training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Motivational Interviewing. I draw on these approaches flexibly, and we will agree together a clear plan to help you get the most from therapy. I have worked in the NHS for seven years and continue to do so alongside private practice. I am currently completing a Master’s in Health Psychology, reflecting my work with people living with long-term health conditions. I have extensive experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds and remain committed to providing inclusive, respectful care. I currently offer 50-minute online appointments and have availability on Mondays. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions or to arrange an initial session to see whether we would be a good fit.ou.
