Line believes therapy is a journey that is different for everyone and every client is the expert of their own experiences and life. Line is passionate about supporting clients on their individual journey and is committed to walking alongside without judgement. Line offers a safe and calm space to allow each client to be heard and supported as they explore who they are and what is getting in the way of them being what they aspire to be.
Line takes an individualised approach to support clients and is committed to tailor treatment for individual needs and work collaboratively. Therefore, she draws on a variety of evidence-based psychologically informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT), Maudsley approaches and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Line is a HCPS registered Counselling Psychologist. She works in National and Specialist NHS Service for adults with eating disorders, in both outpatients and day-care setting.
Line completed her Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at London Metropolitan University and has experience of assessing, understanding and working therapeutically with adults experiencing a range of mental health difficulties, spanning from mild to complex. Line has specialist post-doctoral training in evidence-based treatments for people with eating disorders.
Before clinical training, Line completed a BSc in Nursing and worked as a specialist nurse for a number of years. Line’s nursing background has helped her in being ableto understand the complexity of health and illness.
