BABCP accredited CBT therapist helping adults overcome anxiety, OCD, trauma, burnout, overthinking and emotional overwhelm through tailored, collaborative therapy.
Book a sessionI believe meaningful therapy comes from bringing together two types of expertise. I bring expertise in understanding psychological difficulties and evidence-based therapy approaches, while you bring expertise in your own experiences, relationships and life story. When those perspectives come together, meaningful and lasting change can begin to happen. Many of the people I work with appear to cope well on the outside while struggling internally. They may feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, anxiety, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout or relationship difficulties. Others find themselves feeling constantly on edge, emotionally exhausted or unable to switch off despite trying hard to keep going. My approach is supportive, collaborative and tailored to the individual. Rather than simply offering strategies and hoping something works, I take time to develop a shared understanding of what may be contributing to your difficulties, what keeps them going and what is likely to help. I want therapy to feel purposeful, relevant and adapted to you as a person. I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist working with adults experiencing anxiety, OCD, trauma-related difficulties, depression, stress, burnout and emotional regulation difficulties. Alongside CBT, I integrate approaches such as EMDR, DBT-informed therapy, ACT and Compassion Focused Therapy where appropriate to the work we are doing together. I have experience across NHS and private settings, working with both focused difficulties and more complex, longer-standing emotional patterns. Clients often value the balance of warmth, clarity and practicality I bring to sessions. My aim is not only to help reduce distress in the short term, but to support lasting change that continues beyond therapy itself.
