I’m an experienced and empathic CBT therapist. I support adults to make sense of their feelings, untangle overwhelming thoughts, and take meaningful action — to feel in control, confident, and calm
Book a sessionHello, I'm Victoria Adam, a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP). I am passionate about supporting individuals to make meaningful and lasting changes to their psychological health and emotional well-being. With over a decade of experience in the NHS and private practice, I have worked with adults facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, trauma, depression, and low self-esteem. My approach is collaborative and empathetic, providing a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their difficulties and develop effective coping strategies. I tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual, aiming to equip clients with the tools and knowledge to become their own therapist and maintain progress beyond our sessions. As part of this, after each session, I will send across an email with key learning, helpful reflections and insights gained and resources to build on our session across the week and long term. In addition to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I offer Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, both of which are evidence-based treatments for trauma and other psychological difficulties.
