As a therapist specialised in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I believe that you are the expert of yourself, so therapy will be tailored to achieving your goals and moving closer to your ideal self. I see therapy as an incredible opportunity to connect with your identity and reclaim your life. I have multiple years of experience in mental health, including 6 years in the NHS alongside lecturing and supporting research. I specialise in short-term CBT, which will provide you with techniques to manage all types of Anxiety, OCD, Trauma, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, low mood, and low self-esteem, empowering you to become your own therapist. If your difficulties are long-term and/or more complex, I am open to discussing longer-term support. A good therapeutic alliance involves a collaborative process where both the therapist and client work together towards common goals, with the client actively involved in setting goals and making decisions about their treatment. I understand that therapy may not have been a positive experience for some, and I'm here to explore that with you. In the last years I also trained and started offering Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, which is one of the most effective treatments for anxiety, depression, trauma, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
