About me

As someone with lived experiences of having survived trauma, I infuse my work with empathy and heart. I am incredibly passionate about helping those who feel stuck, and those who feel their negative past experiences are holding them back from having a positive future. I am well-learned and always eager to learn more so I can show up for my clients (currently holding 6 university degrees ranging from neuroscience, teaching degrees, and my psychology & therapy training). But! Academia is not enough when you are choosing a therapist: you want someone who can connect to you on a human level; someone who can empathise and help you map your difficulties versus where you want to be, with both wisdom and compassion. I work integratively which means I draw on different therapies such as CBT and DBT, to find what works best for you. With over 10 years experience in the mental health field I am passionate about what I do and have helped clients overcome addiction, personality disorder struggles, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and to move forward in their relationships and careers. I also specialise in helping those who feel trapped in family dynamics and relationships with people demonstrating narcissistic traits. In my work in the field I have helped many clients break free of such dynamics, but also explore and work on the root causes of what kept them trapped, (such as low self worth, cultural barriers, and systemic blocks). I absolutely love being a psychologist and I want to team up with clients who are hungry for change and ready to do the work. If that sounds like you, get in touch and let's work together to build a life that matches your values so you can be a happier you :)
