About me

Rhiane is a passionate clinician aiming to help individuals' make sense of their difficulties and to live full and meaningful lives. She is a clinical psychologist who utilises evidence based interventions within her practice whilst also remaining empathic and compassionate towards those she sees. Clinically, Rhiane will often use CBT, ACT and EMDR therapies. The aim of using these approaches is to help clients’ move forward, develop skills and to achieve their goals. Rhiane has particular interests in working with anxiety, panic, trauma, stress, low mood and anger. Rhiane has worked within the NHS since 2009. In particular, Rhiane has worked within primary care services, delivering CBT based interventions and more recently has been working within a male forensic inpatient setting for the NHS. As part of this work, Rhiane regularly work swith staff teams, provides consultation and works with a range of clients with severe and enduring difficulties, such as psychosis. There is also a considerable focus on working with trauma, forming a central part of Rhiane’s approach when working with others. Throughout Rhiane’s work in both community and inpatient NHS settings, she has had experience of working with individuals presenting with panic, anxiety, trauma/ PTSD/ low mood, stress, and anger. As well as delivering CBT, Rhiane has completed further professional training in ACT and EMDR. Rhiane is particularly interested in working with trauma presentations. She has completed further training in EMDR in order to effectively treat individual’s presenting with PTSD and trauma.
