About me

Raphael is an experienced and compassionate therapist, using evidence-based therapies to help people understand and manage any difficulties and distress they are facing. Therapy is always tailored to the individual, their goals, and their strengths. Raphael is a clinical psychologist specialising in psychosis. He is able to provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy across a range of difficulties including distressing voices, paranoia, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, and mood difficulties. Alongside CBT, Raphael draws upon principles of Compassion-Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and trans-diagnostic CBT in his clinical work. Since qualifying as a clinical psychologist at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London, Raphael has worked jointly in research and as a senior psychologist for the NHS. He continues to conduct and supervise research into psychological therapy approaches for post-traumatic stress disorder and psychosis. Raphael provides CBT supervision to trainee and qualified psychologists. Alongside English, Raphael is fully fluent in French.
