About me

It can be really hard to be a human - life is full of the unknowns and the things from our pasts that we can’t change. It takes great courage to look at how to live alongside our past and find ways to change our future, and you’ve done a really incredible thing for yourself to get to this place in seeking help. You might be feeling like you’re sitting in a hole, or needing ways to soothe your internal and external systems to create a space that brings you lightness. You might be on the edge of making some decisions and in need of a little support to get you there. I’m a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, with 9 years experience of working within the NHS. I use the principles of CBT to guide you in challenging critical negative thinking, creating new healthier ways of reacting to and living your life, and finding the self compassion we all needed to be taught at school. You and your needs are important, regardless of whoever else might be dealing with whatever else. If it makes you upset, anxious, sad, worried - it is important. I encourage you to reach out and we can think together about how to get you to a place of grounding and stability.
