Approach
Mark is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and registered with both the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). He has experience of helping people for a variety of difficulties, but his principal areas of interest and expertise include weight and eating-related difficulties, post-traumatic stress disorder, and mood and anxiety-related conditions. Although valuing a range of approaches, Mark principally uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy in his practice.
Experience
Mark has experience working in several different environments including NHS hospitals, private hospitals, and charitable organisations. He currently works part-time for the NHS, part-time for a private hospital, and in independent practice. Outside of work, Mark enjoys cycling, travelling, and spending time with his young family and friends.
