Approach

Karen likes to really get to know clients and understand their story and what drives them. She believes that this holds the key to understanding what gets in their way and stops them from making the changes that they want and need to make. She works with both long-term clients who want to work deeply, and with clients who want to focus on one specific issue in the short term.

Experience

Karen began her career as a management consultant. Her passion for working with people in a meaningful way led her to re-train as a clinical psychologist and eventually also as an executive coach. Karen comse from a psychoanalytic tradition with a focus on profound and sustained change. I have worked in in-patient and out-patient settings as well as in private practice and corporates. Karen has nearly 20 years of experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, loss and personality disorders. She likes to work with people who are at decision making points or junctions with change and particularly like to work with working women. Her passion is understanding the psychosomatic and that is what her Ph.D research revolved around.
