About me

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, qualified in 2008, with extensive NHS experience alongside a thriving private practice. Throughout my career I have helped people overcome a wide range of psychological difficulties and long-term health conditions, not by working around their problems, but by teaching the skills and building the insight needed to live a full and meaningful life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the best available evidence. I specialise in treating anxiety and phobias, low mood and depression, eating disorders, and the psychological impact of traumatic life events, including working with veterans of the armed services. I also support people navigating chronic health conditions, relationship and family difficulties, low self-esteem, OCD, self-harm, substance use, bereavement, and much more. Whatever brings you to therapy, my goal is not simply to reduce symptoms. It is to help you develop lasting tools and a stronger sense of self, so that you can respond to whatever life brings with greater confidence and flexibility.
