Book a sessionI began my NHS journey in 2015, taking on various roles across diverse mental health settings. These experiences have shaped my holistic and person-centered approach to therapy. My work has spanned in-patient mental health settings, Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), and community-based programs within educational environments, allowing me to engage with children, teenagers, adults, and families from a wide range of backgrounds. In my therapeutic practice, I focus on delivering evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a strong emphasis on helping children and young people manage anxiety, Autism, ADHD, and other mental health challenges. I believe in the power of collaborative, compassionate care, ensuring that therapy is tailored to the unique needs of each individual. My approach is not only centered on the individual but extends to working closely with parents. I provide them with practical techniques and strategies to support their children outside of therapy, helping to build resilience and promote long-term well-being. As a Senior Wellbeing Practitioner, I also take pride in my role as a supervisor and mentor for Qualified and Trainee CBT Practitioners. I am passionate about nurturing the development of emerging mental health professionals, offering guidance, supervision, and support to ensure high-quality, holistic care for the next generation of practitioners. I am a BABCP Accredited Therapist and hold several postgraduate qualifications, including: - Postgraduate Certificate in Enhanced Evidence-Based Practice for Children and Young People (University of Reading) - Postgraduate Diploma in Children and Young People's CBT Therapy (Kings College London) - Postgraduate Certificate in Supervision of Therapeutic Practice (University of Sussex) My mission is to foster resilience, emotional well-being, and growth, empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives.
