Book a sessionNicole is a warm, compassionate and approachable Clinical Psychologist, who works collaboratively and creatively with clients to meet their specific needs and goals. She believes that effective coaching and therapy draws on clients’ strengths and resilience, enabling them to move forward even when change seems impossible and to develop the tools and strategies to maintain their progress. Nicole is an experienced Chartered Clinical Psychologist and BABCP-accredited Cognitive-Behavioural Therapist with over 15 years' experience helping clients to overcome psychological difficulties and improve their mental well-being. Since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist, she has worked in adult mental health services helping people to overcome a range of difficulties and has extensive experience of assessing and treating clients of all ages with problems relating to depression and anxiety (including obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, health anxiety, phobias, social anxiety and generalised anxiety disorder). Additionally, she has worked extensively with problems such as stress, sleeping difficulties, low self-esteem, and perfectionism. Alongside her focus on supporting people to overcome mental health difficulties, she also has a particular interest in positive psychology and the promotion of psychological well-being, both to reduce the likelihood of clients developing more serious or chronic difficulties and to support people to maximise their potential and life satisfaction. She believes that many of the theories, tools and techniques that we use in psychological therapy are relevant and useful to all of us in managing life's ups and downs, and in dealing with our day-to-day emotional experience. Combining her expertise in psychological therapy with effective transformational coaching strategies, Nicole strives to help more people improve their emotional well-being and thrive in all aspects of their lives. In addition to her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Nicole has completed further specialist training in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience (IoPPN) and is currently completing a Diploma in Transformational Coaching. In her clinical work, she draws upon a number of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
