About me

Nicole is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with experience and expertise in supporting adults and older adults with a range of mental health difficulties. Nicole has worked in the field of mental health for 5 years with older adult hospital community teams, acute hospital services (NHS and private), private practice, and I am currently working in an OCD service. Nicole has extensive experience assessing and treating a range of difficulties such as: depression, anxiety, panic, OCD, phobia, grief, health anxiety, social anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, stress and emotional dysregulation. After spending time getting to know the client and defining difficulties they are facing Nicole’s approach is guided by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), as well as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills and mindfulness. The approached used is based off the client and individual treatment needs and goals. When you’re experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties it can be hard to know where to turn to for help. Nicole ensures that she provides a confidential space where you will feel heard and understood, and have a therapeutic approach catered to your goals.
