About me

I trained to become a therapist as I'm passionate about helping people understand themselves better and to find their way through life's challenges and changes.

I believe therapy provides a safe space where you can talk openly, explore your thoughts and feelings, and make meaningful changes in your life so that you feel more connected.
My therapy style is gentle and supportive , understanding, and collaborative.

| work closely with you to ensure our sessions fit in with your specific needs, and ensure you feel comfortable and heard throughout the process.
I strongly believe that everyone can change and grow, and therapy offers a powerful way to unlock your potential.

I see my role as supporting you on your journey, working with you to help you overcome your challenges. I do this by supporting you to build resilience by looking to create a life that’s more balanced and fulfilling through goals based on your values.
I graduated from the Institute of Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience (IOPPN) at King's College London in 2018. I've been working in the NHS, initially as a low level intensity Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP), and then as a high intensity accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT).
My experiences over these past 10 years have encompassed a variety of therapeutic approaches - including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ( ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy ( CFT).

My specialisations are around helping people struggling with anxiety, depression, and trauma. In addition I also have extensive experience supporting people going through major life changes and having trouble adjusting to these changes. A common saying: ‘ a problem shared is a problem halved’ represents my approach to helping others. I'm a registered member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), which means I'm committed to high standards of ethics and care.
