About me

Michelle is a reflective, compassionate and skilled therapist who works with clients to help make sense of and manage the difficulties they are facing. She uses a range of evidence based therapy to support clients to work towards their therapy goals and improve their wellbeing. Michelle is a clinical psychologist with expertise and experience in supporting people across the lifespan with a range of mental health difficulties. Michelle specialises in supporting people with mood disorders, age-related difficulties and psychosis. Her therapy is tailored to meet the client's needs through a process of thorough assessment and collaborative formulation. Her main therapeutic approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Third-wave approaches. She also draws on systemic principles in her work. Michelle continues to work as a highly specialist clinical psychologist in the NHS where she supports older adults in both community and acute settings. Michelle completed her clinical training at the University of East Anglia and has a post-graduate certificate in CBT for Psychosis from University College London.
