About me

Mark is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist and registered with both the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

He has experience of helping people for a variety of difficulties, but his principal areas of interest and expertise include performance and sport, weight and eating-related difficulties, post-traumatic stress disorder, mood and anxiety-related conditions.

Although valuing a range of approaches, Mark principally uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy in his practice. Mark has experience working in several different environments including with elite athletes, NHS hospitals, private hospitals, and charitable organisations.

He currently works part-time for the NHS and part-time in independent practice.

Outside of work, Mark enjoys fitness training, travelling, and spending time with his young family and friends.
