Even though I have my own style of therapy I will always make sure to collaborate with you and to be as flexible as needed so we are always on the same page when working together. I hope to create a non-judgemental, safe and hopefully very comfortable environment where you can feel heard and understood. I am always happy to share a bit more details about my educational background with you if you feel you need it (just ask me) but I feel it might be more important to focus on the fact that I have experience of working within a number of different settings and clients struggling with different things. I specialise in mood and affective disorders, such as depression and anxiety, I work with trauma and addiction and I have many years of experience working with ADHD, and neurodiversity. I also work with families and do couple’s therapy. Having experience in psychology and psychotherapy I understand how difficult it might be to open up and explore any issues interfering with your everyday life with a stranger. I want you to feel comfortable working with me so good communication during (and at times between) our sessions will always be the key. * I am also a qualified EMDR practitioner and additionally to working clinically I also conduct ADHD assessments
