About me

You might be thinking… How can this guy really help me? What’s he going to know about my life? It’s a fair question. The truth is, I can’t know exactly what it’s like to be you or to live your life, and no therapist can. But that’s not what actually helps people feel better. What matters is understanding how suffering works, what keeps it going, and what allows it to ease. That’s what I’ve spent the past 17 years learning and applying in practice. I’ve worked across a range of mental health settings, from young people through to severe and enduring conditions, including within NHS Talking Therapies as a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist delivering evidence-based treatment. I’ve seen how suffering takes hold and what helps people begin to move out of it. Most people I work with have been trying to figure things out for a long time, on their own or through therapy, sometimes more than once, yet still feel stuck. When you work with me, it’s not just about talking, it’s about understanding what’s keeping you stuck and how to move forward in a way that makes sense to you. I offer a space that is clear, supportive and non-judgemental. If you don’t see a suitable time slot, I’m often able to adjust the start time by around 30 minutes earlier or later, so feel free to send a quick enquiry.
