About me

I’m a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with over 13 years’ post-qualification experience, working across NHS services, employee assistance programmes, the charitable sector, and private practice. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. A central part of my work is creating a calm, non-judgemental space where you don't have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or be anything other than honest about how things really are. My approach is structured and collaborative, grounded in evidence-based CBT, and always tailored to the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all model. I aim not only to help you feel better, but to support you in understanding yourself more clearly and making changes that genuinely last. I’m also the author of 5000 Hours in Therapy, which draws on my clinical experience of what most effectively supports recovery and lasting change.
