She works collaboratively with clients to develop a shared understanding of their problems, and to identify where changes are needed to progress towards their goals. Katie is an HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist, with over 9 years of experience working in NHS services and mental health research settings. She completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London (KCL), has a Masters degree in Mental Health and Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Katie currently works in the NHS in South London. She delivers evidence-based psychological therapies, in particular Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She also draws on other therapeutic modalities such as Compassion-Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, with a flexible approach to tailor therapy to each individual. She has particular interest and experience in working with adults with anxiety disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and low self-esteem.
