I am an accredited integrative psychotherapist offering a collaborative therapeutic space where clients can explore life’s challenges and past experiences with curiosity, care, and understanding.
Book a sessionMy approach integrates cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with relational, psychodynamic, and existential perspectives. This allows therapy to be adapted to each individual rather than following a single model. As a creative therapist, I welcome the use of metaphor, symbolic language, visual imagery, and the felt sense of self as powerful tools in therapy. These approaches can be especially helpful when working with trauma, offering ways to access and process experiences that may be difficult to articulate directly. I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and periods of uncertainty or life transition. Together we can explore what may feel confusing, overwhelming, or difficult to carry alone, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences. I aim to offer a thoughtful and supportive environment where reflection, insight, and meaningful change can emerge. I hold an MSc in Existential Psychology and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a BSc in Psychological Sciences from University of Westminster. My academic background allows me to combine scientific understanding with a deep exploration of meaning, freedom, and identity in therapy. I have also completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Supervision at University of Derby and training in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), which integrates elements of CBT and psychoanalytic thinking. My experience spans a variety of settings, including the NHS (secondary care and art therapy), NHS IAPT services, private practice at the Priory Wellbeing Centre in Canterbury, universities such as University of Kent, Middlesex University, Canterbury Christ Church University, and The Open University, as well as charities supporting people facing homelessness or trauma. These roles have broadened my understanding of diverse client needs and enriched my therapeutic approach.
