Joseph Poullis

About me

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist registered with the HCPC and a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society, with over twenty years of post-qualification clinical experience.

I hold a Doctorate in Psychology from City University London and work across private practice and with The Priory Group, delivering both face-to-face and remote therapy. My approach is integrative, drawing on whichever evidence-based methods best suit the individual rather than applying a single model.

I work with a wide range of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, neurodiversity, relationship difficulties, and personality difficulties, and I have specialist training in ADHD and autism assessment using gold-standard tools. I try to create a space where people feel genuinely understood, somewhere they can be honest about what is hard and what they want their lives to look like.

In my experience that is where real change begins.
