About me

Jane works hard to develop an affirming therapy space for clients to feel comfortable, empowered and safe. Her curious nature helps her to develop a good rapport with others and her personality often shows up in warmth, humour and knowledge. She supports clients to identify what is within their control, to find their own strengths and to build a meaningful life. She works collaboratively to understand a persons difficulties and work towards their goals. She strongly believes that there is no one size fits all approach to therapy and we are all just imperfect human beings doing the best we can. She is always interested in hearing about her clients’ previous experiences of therapy (if applicable) and their hopes and fears about the process. She looks forward to navigating the challenge of therapy together and ensuring you enjoy the rewards! Jane is an experienced psychotherapist with 10 years experience working in the NHS. Jane provides evidence based treatment whilst drawing from a number of approaches including ACT and CFT. She trained at the University of Oxford where she developed skills in assessing and treating a range of psychological diagnoses. Jane has a successful record of treating a wide range of disorders such as depression, anxiety disorders, body dysmorphia and trauma. Jane has a special interest in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Emetophobia.
