Book a sessionI began my journey into Psychology in 2004 and spent some time working in mental health rehabilitation wards. Since 2010 I had been practicing as a Cognitive Behavioural (CBT) therapist within the National Health Service in primary care NHS settings until February 2018. I gained prior experience working for a digital health company using text, audio and video therapy. I currently receive referrals from medical insurers and private medical insurance including BUPA, AXA, Vitality and Aviva referrals. My work involves providing therapeutic support for those individuals who experience common mental health problems including depression and a range of anxiety disorders. Although I enjoy and feel competent in treating all disorders I have a keen interest in working with those who struggle with OCD, worry, panic, low self-esteem, low mood and phobias including driving phobia and Emetophobia. I thoroughly enjoy my role and have gained considerable experience working with a wide range of anxiety disorders including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalised Anxiety (GAD), Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic Disorder with or without Agoraphobia, Specific phobias, Trichotillomania, Dermatillomania and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I also work with stress, traumatic grief, Depression and enjoy improving low self-esteem. Those that I have worked with have always commented on my compassion, empathy, professionalism and commitment to helping them overcome their difficulties.
