About me

I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with advanced training in High Intensity CBT, alongside postgraduate qualifications in counselling, psychotherapy, and education. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, body image concerns, and relationship difficulties, particularly where patterns feel longstanding or hard to shift. My approach is grounded in evidence-based CBT, which I integrate with schema-informed work when helpful. This allows us to look not only at what’s happening in the present, but also at the deeper patterns that shape how you experience yourself—your sense of worth, your relationships, and how you respond to difficult emotions. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, yet find themselves caught in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, or being overly hard on themselves. I have a particular interest in working with the impact of relationship experiences, including betrayal or loss, as well as the pressures of modern dating. Alongside this, I support clients struggling with body image and appearance-related concerns, helping them move towards a more balanced, compassionate, and stable relationship with themselves. I also have experience working with a range of anxiety-related difficulties, including generalised anxiety, OCD, and trauma-related presentations, where these intersect with patterns of worry, responsibility, and self-criticism. I work in a collaborative and structured way, offering both psychological understanding and practical tools. My aim is to create a space where you feel genuinely understood, while also helping you step out of unhelpful patterns and move towards a way of relating to yourself and others that feels calmer, clearer, and more secure. If you’re looking for therapy that goes beyond coping strategies and helps you understand and change the patterns underneath, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
