About me

My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative and grounded in the belief that understanding ourselves is often the first step towards meaningful change.

I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred therapy, attachment theory, trauma-informed practice and elements of cognitive and behavioural approaches, tailoring our work to you rather than expecting you to fit a particular model. I work actively and collaboratively.

While therapy offers space to talk openly and feel heard, I also believe it can be helpful to develop a clearer understanding of why certain patterns have developed, what keeps them going and how they might begin to shift.

Together, we may explore your relationships, past experiences, beliefs, emotional responses and patterns of behaviour, while also considering what is happening for you in the present. A central part of my approach is helping clients develop greater curiosity and compassion towards themselves.

Behaviours or responses that feel frustrating or difficult often developed for understandable reasons.

Exploring where these patterns came from can help us move away from self-criticism and towards a greater sense of choice and agency. I have experience supporting people with anxiety, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, trauma and feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves.

I am also interested in the relationship between our emotional and physical wellbeing, informed by my background in health psychology. I aim to provide a warm, thoughtful and non-judgemental space where you can speak honestly, make sense of your experiences and work towards changes that feel realistic and meaningful to you.

Therapy with me is not about being told what to do, but about developing the understanding, tools and confidence to navigate life in a way that feels more aligned with who you are.
