I am an experienced Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, with a longstanding career within the NHS. With a deep understanding of both physical and psychological challenges, I support individuals facing a diverse range of difficulties. I have extensive experience working with PTSD, childhood traumas, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and various anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety and health anxiety. Additionally, I have specialised knowledge in supporting clients with long-term physical health conditions and understand the significant impact on psychological well-being. I also bring additional expertise in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). Clients tell me they are able to view their difficulties from a fresh perspective and uncover new possibilities for change. As an accredited CBT therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), I also provide training and supervision within the NHS. I also act as Lead for Long-Term Conditions (LTC) and supervise trainee CBT therapists, contributing to the professional development of others in the field.
