About me

Farah is a BABCP-accredited Senior Psychological Therapist and Clinical Supervisor with over 15 years of experience working across NHS & private mental health services. She specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and integrates approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and mindfulness to tailor therapy to each individual's needs. Farah is known for her warm, compassionate, and approachable style. She understands that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming and strives to create a safe, supportive, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. Through active listening and thoughtful reflection, she helps clients make sense of their experiences and gain greater self-awareness. Farah believes therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery that empowers lasting behavioural change. She works collaboratively with clients to identify and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns, develop new perspectives, and build practical strategies that support emotional wellbeing and resilience. She recognises that every person's experiences are unique and tailors therapy accordingly. She has extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, panic, stress, burnout, low self-esteem, trauma, attachment and relationship difficulties, domestic abuse, perinatal mental health difficulties, ADHD, autism, and long-term health conditions. She also works with people struggling with people-pleasing, perfectionism, emotional regulation difficulties, and healthy boundary setting. Farah takes a collaborative approach to therapy, helping clients understand the links between their thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships. Her aim is to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their experiences, and their relationships, empowering them to move forward with greater clarity, purpose, and self-compassion.
