Book a sessionMy therapeutic approach is based on the idea that all of us have an inherent capacity to grow and change. Sometimes this capacity is ‘blocked’ by difficult life events or certain beliefs that prevent us from making changes. During therapy I endeavour to create supportive space so that you are able to explore your difficulties and identify ways to deal with them. At the first stages of therapy, I will work with you to understand your difficulties, your current life circumstances and your strengths. Together, we will then develop a unique therapeutic plan for you, based on your goals and how best we can help you achieve them. I have been trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy and person-centered counselling. I see my way of working as versatile, I draw upon different therapeutic approaches, depending on my clients’ goals, their needs and the length of therapy. Experience I am a HCPC registered psychologist with ten years of experience working with people struggling with psychological difficulties. After completing my MSc at King’s College, I obtained my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at Surrey University. For the last six years, I have been working in secondary care mental health settings within the NHS, with people experiencing enduring mental health conditions and difficulties related to a personality disorder diagnosis. Special Interests Relationship difficulties, emotional impulsivity, and addictive behaviours.
