Book a sessionEmma is a Chartered Psychologist and HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist with over 10 years of experience supporting adults with chronic pain, long-term health conditions, anxiety, low mood, stress, and major life changes. Emma understands that living with health difficulties can affect every part of life — including confidence, relationships, work, identity, and emotional wellbeing. She has experience supporting people who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, exhausted, worried about the future, or like they have “lost themselves” following illness, injury, or difficult life experiences. Starting therapy can feel daunting, especially if you are used to coping on your own. Emma offers a warm, calm, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely heard and understood. Her approach is compassionate, supportive, and practical, with therapy tailored to your individual needs and pace. Emma works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand what they are going through, develop healthier ways of coping, and make meaningful changes that improve quality of life. She believes therapy is not about “fixing” people, but about helping people feel more connected, resilient, and able to move forward in a way that feels right for them. Her approach combines evidence-based psychological therapies with mindfulness and compassion-focused approaches. Emma has additional specialist training in chronic pain, trauma, mindfulness, and emotional wellbeing, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Motivational Interviewing, and Breathworks mindfulness for pain and stress management. Emma offers online and in-person sessions for adults aged 18+ across the UK.
