About me

Hello, I’m Chenelle – BABCP Accredited Therapist Specialising in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) Welcome! I’m a dedicated psychological therapist passionate about supporting clients in building resilience, self-compassion, and healthier mental wellbeing. With accreditation from the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), I specialise in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and also offer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT). My Approach I believe that everyone has the potential for growth and healing, especially when guided with compassion. My practice is centered on helping individuals navigate difficult emotions, self-criticism, and anxiety through developing a compassionate, supportive relationship with themselves. In our sessions, we’ll work together to uncover and address underlying patterns and beliefs, building the skills needed to manage life’s challenges with confidence and self-kindness. Therapeutic Focus In my work, I support clients with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and perfectionism. I specialise in treating complex PTSD and PTSD, providing a structured path towards healing and recovery. Compassion Focused Therapy is particularly effective for those struggling with harsh self-criticism or shame, equipping you with practical tools for emotional regulation and a greater sense of well-being. Let’s Work Together If you’re ready to explore therapy or deepen your healing journey, I’d be honoured to support you. Together, we’ll create a safe, non-judgemental space where you can build the foundations for a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with yourself.
