About me

Asni has been working as a psychotherapist for 15 years, she is trained in and uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). Asni is a reflective, caring and down to earth therapist who aims to make her clients feel at ease. Asni sees each client as an individual, she is keen to understand their current difficulties and what in life has led them to where they are now. During therapy Asni works collaboratively with her clients towards their personal goals so that they can leave feeling a greater sense of empowerment and fulfillment in their lives. Asni has worked with a wide range of clients in NHS mental health services and private practice; she has experience working with depression, low self esteem, trauma, post traumatic stress disorder, generalized anxiety, specific phobias, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, health anxiety and long term conditions. Asni is a reflective practitioner who attends regular supervision and additional training to better support her clients.
