About me

Hello, I’m Asmah Ahmed, a fully accredited CBT therapist with experience supporting both children and adults.

I specialise in helping people manage anxiety, depression, and a wide range of mental health challenges using a structured, evidence-based approach.

I combine the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy with compassion, acceptance, and collaboration, ensuring that every person I work with feels heard, supported, and understood. I hold an MSc in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Children and Young People from University College London and a BSc in Psychology and Counselling (1st Class Honours).

Over the years, I have worked in NHS services, IAPT programmes, and digital therapy platforms, providing interventions that are grounded in clinical guidelines and tailored to individual needs.

I have experience in formulating treatment plans, delivering CBT interventions, and monitoring progress to help clients achieve meaningful change in their lives. My approach is practical yet empathetic.

I use tried-and-tested CBT strategies to address patterns of thought and behaviour while recognising the importance of acceptance and emotional support.

I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where clients can explore their difficulties, build resilience, and develop strategies that work in everyday life. Whether working with a child, adolescent, or adult, my goal is to empower you to understand your challenges, manage your emotions, and move forward with confidence and calm.

Together, we can create a plan that fits your life and helps you feel more like yourself.
