About me

Anneliese is a deeply compassionate and relational psychotherapist with over ten years of experience supporting individuals through emotional pain, psychological distress, and trauma. Her approach is grounded in empathy, connection, and a deep respect for each person's unique story. Anneliese began her career in the charitable sector, where she provided therapeutic support to individuals navigating the complex challenges of addiction and grief. She later worked extensively with children, young people, and families, developing a strong foundation in supporting relational dynamics and early life experiences. Over time, her practice evolved to focus on clients within the military and emergency services, offering specialist care for those affected by high-impact trauma and chronic stress within the NHS and Private Practice. As a reflective and emotionally attuned therapist, Anneliese draws from a range of therapeutic modalities to meet the unique needs of each client. Her training includes Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion and Emotion Focused Therapy, Couples and Family Therapy, and trauma-informed interventions. This integrative background allows her to work effectively with adults, young people, families, parents, and couples.
