Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is based on the idea that our thoughts, feelings and behaviour are all connected and impact on each other. Sometimes this process can be unhelpful which can lead to us becoming stuck in unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. CBT aims to help us to learn helpful skills to challenge thinking and better manage emotions.
