I am a qualified CBT Therapist with over 10 years of experience working in the NHS.
I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a masters degree in Applied Clinical Psychology, and two postgraduate diplomas in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy from the University of Exeter.
Alongside my private practice I also work on behalf of insurance companies providing CBT for a range of problems.
I specialise in transdiagnostic approaches to therapy, which is a style that appreciates everyone's situation is different and potentially complex.
It therefore focuses on developing a holistic, flexible treatment plan specific to your needs.
I also have key interests in trauma, complex PTSD, and depression.
Prior to my current work I worked in the NHS across a variety of settings.
This included acute hospital care and rehabilitation for those suffering from brain injuries and strokes.
I also worked as a CBT therapist for the NHS, providing therapy in both one-to-one and group formats.
Through my experiences I have worked alongside and been trained under many leading figures in the field of mental health.
I also routinely undergo further training and clinical supervision to ensure that I am providing you with the best possible support and most cutting edge interventions.
I hold an enhanced DBS check and I am accredited by the BABCP, which means I have completed a “gold standard” level of training.
I am also insured to provide private therapy.
