About me

I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist who offers thoughtful, compassionate support to people navigating the emotional and psychological challenges that life can bring. You may be seeking support because life feels particularly difficult right now due to significant events or stress, or perhaps you are wondering why things feel so challenging when, on paper, everything seems okay. I have particular experience supporting individuals living with chronic or acute health conditions, as well as those experiencing low mood, stress, anxiety, or other difficult life events. I work collaboratively with clients to develop practical coping strategies, build resilience and self-compassion and reconnect with what matters most to them. My usual treatment approach is a blend of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and will be based entirely on your individual hopes and goals for support and change. My approach is focused on helping you feel understood and empowered. I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace and feel supported in making meaningful and sustainable changes that draw on your strengths and values. You may have already tried self-help resources or groups and found that they haven’t quite resonated or only taken you part of the way - our sessions can offer a more tailored and personal approach to support deeper change.
