She has over 20 years’ experience working with individuals with a range of psychological difficulties, and physical and mental health conditions. Susan has experience of delivering high-quality therapy for people across the lifespan, in hospital and community settings as well as in private practice. Susan has supported people with a wide range of difficulties, including; depression; anxiety; emotional regulation problem; low self-esteem; trauma; bereavement; work-related stress and burnout; neurological conditions and adjusting to and managing a range of physical health conditions. Susan uses an integrative approach using a combination of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassionate Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Brief Solution Focused Therapy.
