I work with clients to help them recognise and change unhelpful thought patterns. Together, we develop practical strategies to manage challenges like anxiety disorders and low mood.
Book a sessionI am a registered mental health nurse and cognitive behavioural therapist (CBT), working full-time as a CBT therapist. I have over 18 years of experience in mental health. My role involves treating clients with common mental health difficulties, such as depression and various types of anxiety disorders, in accordance with NICE guidelines. I help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, identifying unhelpful patterns and setting practical goals to address challenges like anxiety and low mood. Using evidence-based techniques, I guide them in developing healthier thinking and coping strategies. My approach is structured and collaborative, aiming to empower clients to create lasting change and improve their well-being. I encourage an active, collaborative process where clients gain the confidence to apply new techniques in their daily lives. The goal is not only to reduce distress in the short term but also to equip clients with long-term skills for managing life’s challenges and enhancing overall well-being.
