About me

I’m an experienced and accredited psychotherapist with a background in delivering evidence-based psychological therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and couples therapy. I’ve worked across a wide range of settings—NHS services, private practice, and community-based care—supporting people with challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, and identity-related issues. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you.

I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you feel heard and understood, so we can explore what’s going on beneath the surface and work towards meaningful change. I also bring a culturally sensitive lens to my work, drawing on lived experience and a deep understanding of how culture, faith, and identity can shape our emotional lives and relationships. If you’re thinking about starting therapy or want to learn more about how I work, you’re very welcome to get in touch. Website: www.cayhpsychologicalservices.co.uk
