About me

My Approach: As a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, I specialise in helping individuals navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and stress. My therapeutic approach is characterised by warmth and compassion, and I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore, learn, and embark on a journey towards a more fulfilling life. My therapeutic approach will help you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, including how a problem may have developed, how it shows up day-to-day, and how it interacts with relationships, work, or other important parts of your life. I believe that developing this shared understanding creates a path for us to work together to make positive changes, learn how you can respond to difficult feelings, and develop more helpful coping mechanisms. I am trained in a range of therapies, such as: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET). I have an integrative style, drawing upon these different approaches to tailor our sessions to meet your specific needs. My Experience: I have over 7 years of clinical practice experience within the NHS and third sector across London and the West Midlands. I have worked with a diverse range of individuals dealing with a variety of difficulties, including excessive worry, PTSD, health anxiety, OCD, panic, body dysmorphia, social anxiety, phobias, and depression. Alongside HelloSelf, I also work part-time as a therapist in Central and North West London NHS Trust where I specialise in helping people process and heal from traumatic experiences which have led to difficulties like PTSD or other problems.
