Approach

It can be hard to know what to do and where to go when you are struggling, however you have taken the first step to search for a therapist, so let Francesca guide you through the rest. Francesca is a fully accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with experience working in the NHS for over 7 years, supporting people with depression and anxiety. This includes working with self esteem, addressing past difficulties, processing trauma and working through life transitions. She has also been training in Cognitive Behavioural Couples Therapy and specialises in supporting couples who may be experiencing relationship distress or are experiencing depression. Francesca incorporates other therapeutic approaches, such as Compassion Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to allow flexibility in how she works with clients and to adapt sessions to suit her clients. She believes the therapeutic relationship is essential, so will aim to create a safe, supportive environment for you both to work together. Beginning your therapy journey can be difficult but it is also the best care that you can give yourself.
