"When I was 8, I was diagnosed with ADHD and a learning disability. Support from people around me saved my life from suicidal thoughts and anxiety, and today I hope I can be your support as well."

About me

Hi, I'm Dr Pannavat Veeraburinon, and I a HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist in the UK. Please feel free to call me "Palm". Of Thai, Vietnamese, Laotian, and Chinese heritage, I deeply understand multiculturalism, diversity, and family dynamics. Fluent in English and Thai, I have over 4,000+ counselling sessions, having worked with clients from the UK, EU countries, USA, Nigeria, Turkey, India, Taiwan, Singapore, and Thailand. Being bilingual and multicultural has enabled me to have an open-minded, flexible, and sensitive approach. I've assisted clients of all ages grappling with PTSD, ADHD, ASD, depression, burnout, and high anxiety. I hold a master's degree in psychology with merit from the University of Stirling, UK, and I'm currently pursuing a doctorate in counselling psychology at Glasgow Caledonian University, UK. As a Dalai Lama Fellows programme alumnus, I've honed skills in mind and meditation training, promoting self-awareness, self-care, resilience, and fostering connections across differences. Recently, I earned a certificate in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy for Life from The University of Oxford Mindfulness Centre. As your therapist, my mission is to guide you towards your inner resources, offering clarity and purpose for a more fulfilling life. Rejecting the one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor a therapeutic strategy just for you, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), and Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I provide a safe haven for you to explore your thoughts and emotions, understanding the courage it takes to embark on a therapeutic journey. Expect thought-provoking questions, reflections, and practical tools, all aimed at helping you achieve your goals. While I may challenge your perspectives, it's always with the intent of broadening your horizons. I check messages here on weekdays. You can also book a live session with me ahead of time. I look forward to working with you!
